We continue our discussion with Iowa voters, with the presidential precinct caucuses just six weeks away. We examine the mood of the electorate, through the voices of voters.

“I think some of them (candidates) have reasonable morals but I think they do what they need to do to stay in office, keep their parties elected,” said David Robertson, an Iowa voter. “I vote every election. Generally, I’m more Republican than Democrat. That said, I usually vote for change because I don’t like the two party system. I don’t think it’s working, at all.”

Although some voters are engaged in the process, others don’t feel that their voice is heard or don’t participate at all.

“I don’t feel that my being there — it’s more a waste of my time — because I don’t feel like it makes a difference,” Robertson said.
