Provender sets up its wood-fired oven in preparation for the 2015 IowaWatch Fun-raiser and silent auction.
The evening provide an opportunity to meet with old friends or network with new ones, enjoy wine and cheese, and enjoy an Iowa September sunset with wood-fired pizza cooked on the spot in a restored and refashioned antique truck by the Iowa City-based caterer, Provender. A similar event was held last year in October.
Silent auction items will include two tickets to the Oct. 14 Hancher Auditorium performance of “Book of Mormon”, two tickets to the Oct. 1 Iowa Homecoming football game against Northwestern University, mementoes and baked goods. All proceeds after expenses will benefit the Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism, which operates IowaWatch.
Advanced tickets are available at this link for $31.74. This price includes $1.74 Eventbrite processing fees and a $10 donation to IowaWatch.
