We’ve previously learned first-hand accounts of veterans who had difficulty reintegrating into society.

IowaWatch has reported that getting an accurate count of homeless veterans in Iowa is difficult, and why. Moreover, some homeless veterans in the state are not connecting with available services.

In this podcast of an IowaWatch Connection program that aired on radio stations Aug. 11-13 — before veterans day at the 2017 Iowa State Fair — we hear from those whose jobs are to help veterans and tell their stories.
