Four student athletes from the University of Iowa field hockey team filed a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Education alleging the university has discriminated against women in its treatment of coaches and student athletes. They said they feel they've been patronized by UI administrators who were dismissive of current players' perspectives after athletic department leaders took so seriously allegations of mistreatment by former players that they fired coach Tracey Griesbaum.
